Cool Dates Around DFW

Eagle Express, Scheduled DFW Healthcare Couriers

Newsflash: Valentine’s Day is February 14th. That falls on a Thursday this year. It is a little under two weeks away. The good news is, your calendar is already marked. You just need to fill in the blank.

What will you do with your significant other on Valentine’s Day this year?

Some of you are as organized as our scheduled DFW healthcare couriers. Your date is planned, prepped, and on the calendar, and has been for weeks! You have your car clean, your shirt pressed, and a smile on your face. Say, you really do have a lot in common with our scheduled DFW healthcare couriers!

But for the rest of you, it’s “go” time. It’s not time to panic, it’s time to get prepared.

Here are some way cool ways to explore the city that we all love, as you celebrate Valentine’s Day with your loved one.

  • Dallas Museum of Art- Art enthusiasts, and those just looking for a quiet place to stroll indoors hand in hand, will love the DMA. Oh, and did we mention, if you’re on a tight budget, the DMA is sophisticated and free.

  • Hot Chocolate 5K- Chocolate on Valentine’s Day? Yes, please! Work a sweat with your sweetheart at the 15K/5K at fair park. Your finisher’s mug comes complete with fondue and, of course, hot chocolate. Just bear in mind that this race is on February 9th, the week before Valentine’s Day.

  • The Dallas Arboretum- Celebrate the day away at the Dallas Arboretum. There will be $5 admission at the ticket booth, a Latin cooking demonstration and tasting at 11 am, live music until 3 PM, and a movie on the lawn at 6:30. The gardens are open until 9PM.

  • TX Discovery Gardens- If you and your partner aren’t easily creeped out, Love is in the Air is the event for you! At the Discovery Gardens, you and your mate can learn how bugs and their mates…mate. If you need a little liquid courage, wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

  • Dark Hour Haunted House- Maybe lovey dovey isn’t your thing. If you and your sig other like to be spooked, Dark Hour in Plano will be offering special tours on Valentine’s Day weekend. If you are more interested in the inner workings of the haunted jaunt, you can do a lights-on version with behind the scenes access.

  • Open Skate- There’s nothing more romantic than holding hands with your loved one, gliding across the ice…until someone eats it and falls face first. But despite that, open skate at Allen Community Ice rink could be a cool time.

Our scheduled DFW healthcare couriers hope you and your loved one have a fabulous Valentine’s Day. Just be sure to get your date night on the schedule for February 14th!
